Pop up into trot

We all know the British have some of the best English slang.  While training here in England,   I’ve overheard most of my favourite sentences of 2012…like the riding coach (with a lovely joviality that in Canada might only be reserved for a happy children’s cartoon character) suggesting her student “pop up into trot”…or a water sports enthusiast making what he/she believes to be a casual reference (but is not)— to a specific brand of yacht varnish.

Mini-sorry the visuals on this post don’t match my remarks: I’ve decided instead to post the three animals that I’ve gotten to spend time with since leaving home. I miss you Domino.
